Harbour patrols

Members of the public who utilise navigable waters around the Gareloch, Loch Long and upper Clyde areas can expect to encounter MOD Police Officers water-borne in various craft, particularly around the MOD facilities at Faslane, Coulport, Glen Mallan, Loch Goil and Loch Striven.

Pilotage

The King's Harbour Master, with the agreement of the Competent Harbour Authority (CHA) , issues Pilotage Directions to vessels intending to navigate within the limits of jurisdiction as defined in the Clyde Dockyard Port of Gareloch and Loch Long Order 2011.
