Staff not only had to solve clues that led to the next location on the hunt within a limited time, but also avoid the “foxes” (LPT Martin Brazier and LPT Alex Stocker) who chased them around the site.

The serious side of the event was not only to encourage the Royal Navy principle of team-work but also to provide treats for children who have to spend Easter in hospital.
To qualify for the event, competitors had to donate chocolate and Easter Eggs which were then distributed to the Paediatrics Wards via Portsmouth Hospitals Charity.
Portsmouth Hospitals Charity is the registered Charity for Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
They aim to serve all wards and departments within Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust by helping to fundraise for state-of-the-art equipment, improvements to the hospital environment and facilities as well as funding for specialist staff training and innovation research.
Victoria Greenshields, Fundraising Manager at Portsmouth Hospitals Charity said, “We’d like to thank everyone at HMS Collingwood for generously donating the Easter eggs!
