Bristol URNU charity fundraising efforts 2017

Cheque being donated to Children's Hospice South West during their Open Day in January
1 February 2018
All in all, 2017 was a great year for Bristol University Royal Naval Unit (URNU) charity fundraising.

We raised a grand total of £2,500 which was split between the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, the Children's Hospice South West and the Royal British Legion.

Events included auctions, cake, and pizza sales and of course Poppy selling for the RBL.

Bristol URNU´s Poppy selling took part in the week prior to Remembrance Sunday.

Our cadets volunteered their time, enjoying greeting and interacting with the local community, who approached us with a willingness to donate by buying a poppy and engaging in friendly chat and support.

This year, we managed to raise over £500 as a unit, something to be proud of.
