Proud Royal Navy personnel have their long service awarded at Yeovilton

A proud moment for Wildcat Maritime Force personnel as Rear Admiral Blount OBE awards LSGC (Long Service and Good Conduct) medals.

Rear Admiral Blount said: “It is very important that we stand here today in the Wildcat Training Centre and reflect on and recognise the outstanding achievements of our Fleet Air Arm personnel.”

Personnel based at the Wildcat Training Centre and from the Wildcat Maritime Force HQ congregated to receive this acknowledgement of their unstinting service including the Force Commanding Officer,  Commander Gus Carnie in recognition of 19 years and Lt Commander Chris Yelland for 35 years.

In total these 14 Royal Navy personnel have clocked up a combined and continuous service of 346 years, here’s to the next 346.
