To have command of ten per cent of the Navy on any given day, in the Navy’s biggest and best training establishment, with a training organisation that delivers really high quality trained sailors to the Fleet

Captain Andy Jordan RN

Captain Jordan, who in a twenty-five year career in the Royal Navy has served in eleven ships, commanding four of them and visited over seventy countries said, “It is a huge privilege to do what I do on a daily basis.

“To have command of ten per cent of the Navy on any given day, in the Navy’s biggest and best training establishment, with a training organisation that delivers really high quality trained sailors to the Fleet, is a huge source of pride for me.”

Captain Jordan passed temporary command of the Establishment to Commander Dave Johnston, the Executive Officer, before driving out of the establishment for a final time along a route lined by the Ship’s Company.
