The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is a huge production, featuring a cast of 1,200 performing to a live audience of 220,000 and a global TV audience of more than 100 million over the course of its run from August 4th to 26th.

Among the groups of performers was the Royal Navy Guard of Honour.

The 24-strong guard welcomes the audience at the beginning of every performance, took the general salute and marches at the finale. It is a vital component of the show at Edinburgh Castle's esplanade.
