The Royal Navy is famous world wide and for good reason, I am looking forward to using the knowledge and experience that I have gained whilst onboard HMS Monmouth to good use once I am home.

The students were accompanied by Lt Cdr Joe Allfree RN from the Maritime Warfare School, who said: “The students have worked tremendously hard so far on their course, and being able to come onboard a Royal Navy warship and command the ops room provides an ideal opportunity to put into practise all that they have learnt in the classroom.”

When asked about his experience of working with the RN, Capt Benson Chian from the Singapore Navy said, “The Royal Navy is famous world wide and for good reason, I am looking forward to using the knowledge and experience that I have gained whilst onboard HMS Monmouth to good use once I am home.”

In recognition of their achievements each student was awarded with a HMS Monmouth cap by the Commanding Officer, Commander Gordon Ruddock RN.
