By road

Yeovilton is 5 miles north of Yeovil, 38 miles south of Bristol, close to the A303 and A37, and within easy reach of the M5 from Junction 25. The postcode for sat nav systems is BA22 8HT but please ignore the sat nav instructions as you approach the Air Station and follow the Air Day traffic signs instead. The Air Day will be sign posted from all directions and they will lead you to the nearest car park. For on-site hospitality parking please follow the instructions in your ticket pack. All car parks are free of charge. Remember to make a note of which car park and entrance you are using. We anticipate 10,000 vehicles attending the event so we would be grateful for your patience on entry and exit.


By bus

A shuttle bus service will run from Yeovil Pen Mill and Yeovil Junction train stations via Yeovil Bus Station. This is the only local bus service running to the Air Day.




By coach

Various coach operators will be running day excursions to the Air Day.


By train

The nearest stations are Yeovil Pen Mill and Yeovil Junction. Dedicated bus services will be running to and from RNAS Yeovilton. For general rail information call National Rail Enquiries on 08457 484950.


By air

If you would like to fly in to the Air Day we have limited arrival slots available in the morning. Times are restricted and must be booked in advance. Terms and conditions apply.

Caravan & motorhome facility

Stay for a long weekend at our temporary caravan & morhome facility available from Thursday 9th July to Sunday 12th July ideally located opposite the Air Station.



Helicopter pleasure flights

Enjoy spectacular views of RNAS Yeovilton and surrounding areas during the Air Day with a helicopter trip available from £35 (advance booking recommended). Pleasure flights are approximately six miles long and are sold separately by the operator Adventure 001.
