Corps Wars: Exercise Virginia Gauntlet II

More than 250 Royal Marines will travel to the east coast of the USA to compete for the Virginia Gauntlet trophy.

The games will run from 16 to 26 April and brings together Royal Marines from across 19 different sports associations. They will go head-to-head against their friendly rivals, the United States Marine Corps.

About Virginia Gauntlet II

Virginia Gauntlet has been organised By Major Scotty Mills and Warrant Officer 1 Scott Ferguson. It is uniquely funded by the Royal Marines Charity, Royal Navy and Royal Marines Sports Lottery and the Royal British Legion, along with personal contributions from the sportsmen and women.

The Royal Marines Charity is an integral part of all Royal Marines sport, providing funding for 31 sports associations annually, an outstanding support for both and veterans serving personnel.
