Windsurfing

With learning, training and competitive opportunities for all disciplines, including wind foiling, all abilities and levels of experience are welcome to race across the water with us.

Royal Navy Windsurfing

We have a simple aim when it comes to the world of windsurfing; to provide opportunities to everyone within the service at all levels, from grassroots to elite standard. Having already undertaken training camps in Greece and Tenerife, the team is absolutely focused on finding favourable conditions for beginners and improvers to progress and blast their sailing to the next level.

Offering training and support across all disciplines of this exciting sailing sport, we can take you from board basics to competition level. We also embrace the very leading edge of the sport in wind foiling, with mentorship under qualified foiling instructors providing the chance to get to grips with this future Olympic discipline.

We are here to bring windsurfing to as many personnel as possible, whatever your previous experience on or in the water. Regularly hosting taster sessions and weekend courses at training centres in Cornwall, Portsmouth and Weymouth, we provide the very latest kit for loan, (for both training and racing), and offer courses to gain Royal Yachting Association certification.

For more experienced riders, and those developing well, opportunities also exist to represent the RN at national and Inter-Service level in Slalom and Wave Sailing.
