Weightlifting

Weightlifting is the combination of strength, power, and mobility. With competition split into weight categories, it is a sport open to everyone.

Royal Navy Weightlifting

Weightlifting, also known as Olympic Weightlifting, consists of two competition lifts, the snatch and the clean and jerk.

Royal Navy Weightlifters compete in two major in-service competitions each year; The Royal Navy Championships and The Inter-Service Championships. Royal Navy Weightlifters are also regularly represented at English, British, and International events.

As well as competitions, we host workshops and training days with certified British Weightlifting coaches. If you are interested in learning more, please get in touch.
