Netball

A fast paced game which demands coordination, teamwork and quick reactions, netball builds fitness, focus and discipline in a fair and competitive contest.

Royal Navy Netball

Netball is an ideal sport for building core stability, strength, endurance, stamina, and aerobic fitness, as well as developing teamwork and improving mental attitude.

Supporting netball across the Royal Navy from grassroots up to Inter-Service level, our two representative teams - the Open Team and a Development Team, train together, both receiving the benefit of guidance from an England Netball qualified coach. Our players are also often selected to represent UK Armed Forces Netball.

The netball season runs from September through to March, finishing with the annual Inter-Services competition. There are regular training sessions conducted over three days, at least once a month, throughout the season, with a five day training camp leading into Inter-Services.

Get involved

We welcome all players with a reasonable grounding in the game of netball, who are keen to improve their game and aspire to play at representative level.

With our Development squad encouraging players who may benefit from better coaching and training, we also work with the United Services Netball Club (USNC) to feed potential netball players of the future to play and develop.
