Judo

Judo is more than a sport; an unarmed combat activity that trains the mind just as much as it does the body. That's what makes it the ideal regime for personnel of all abilities, experience and physical prowess.

Royal Navy Judo

Available to all RN and RM personnel, we have a number of clubs in various locations across the country. With strong ties with many civilian clubs too, we'll help you hone your mind and your body in unarmed combat whatever your skill level, starting point and location.

We also host the Royal Navy Judo Championships every Autumn, which acts as a selection tool for the Inter-Services Championships. Squad training for the champs, and other events, takes place regularly at one of the British Judo Performance Institutes, allowing the whole squad to get together and train as a team.

We also
compete nationally and internationally and tour abroad every two years, in recent years as far as Australia and the United States.
