Sophie Colebourn proves she is worth her weight in gold

In an exhilarating display of skill and determination, AB WRT Sophie Colebourn representing England, has emerged triumphant in the Great British Elite Three Nations Championship, female under the 66kg category.

The highly anticipated rematch, held in the Magna Science Adventure Centre, Rotherham, displayed a battle of strength and strategy, ultimately resulting in a well-deserved victory for Sophie by a narrow 3-2 split decision.
 
Facing a formidable opponent; a tall southpaw fighter who had previously challenged her in the National final, Sophie demonstrated unwavering focus and tactical prowess, determined to outwork her opponent at every turn.
 
From the opening bell, the intense clash of styles captivated as both competitors highlighted their exceptional boxing abilities. 

AB WRT Colebourn exhibited relentless energy and a never-say-die attitude, unleashing a flurry of combinations that tested the southpaw's defences. Throughout the match, the exceptional conditioning and relentless determination were evident."

Despite facing a taller opponent with a tricky stance, she maneuvered skilfully around her adversary, landing powerful strikes while evading the southpaw's dangerous counterpunches.
 
The thrilling contest unfolded, with the crowd sensing a close battle that could swing either way. Both fighters demonstrated remarkable resilience, but it was the tenacity and sheer work rate of Colebourn that ultimately tipped the scales in her favour.
 
After an exhilarating display of skill and endurance, the judges delivered a hard-fought 3-2 split decision in her favour.
