Weight Management

Healthy weight management contributes significantly towards an individual’s own overall health and wellbeing, and is fundamental to the RN's Health and Wellbeing vision.

How to Manage Your Weight

As a responsible employer, the Royal Navy supports all personnel in adopting healthy lifestyle behaviours to maintain a healthy body weight through the Armed Forces Weight Management Support Pathway and Defence Occupational fitness programme (DOfit).

For advice on these programmes, contact the PT Staff on your establishment or seek medical advice through your Medical Centre or local GP.
