SOUTHSEA COASTAL WORKS TEMPORARY SPECIAL MARK (Rev 11.)

1. A Lit Yellow Special Mark has been laid off Southsea foreshore to assist to with the beach re-charge works indicated in KHM Portsmouth LNTM 48/25.

Lit buoy 1 (Fl Y 5s) 50° 46’.8035 N 001° 05’.7776W

2. Additionally, Mariners are reminded that 3 New Permanent Starboard Day Marks (Groyne Piles) have been established in the following positions: -

50° 46’.776N 001° 05’.623W
50° 46’.724N 001° 05’.556W
50° 46’.635N 001° 05’.363W

3. Mariners are advised to navigate with particular caution in the vicinity and are not to navigate on the shoreward side of the Main Port Approach Channel.

4. The following Portsmouth NAVWARNs remain in force: 19/25, 17/25, 14/25, 45/24, 40/24, 38/24, 28/24, 63/23, 23/23, 15/22 & 33/17.  

5. Navwarn 64/24 is hereby superseded.
