RYDE FLYING DISPLAY - 29 JUNE 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that on 29 June 2025 in the vicinity of Ryde, Isle of Wight, there will be a flying display by the Royal Air Force Red Arrows and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.  
 
2. The first display will take place from 1140 for approximately 35 minutes, over Ryde Sands. The second display will take place from 1340 for approximately 30 minutes, over Ryde Sands 
 
3. Under the regulations of the Dockyard Port of Portsmouth Order 2005 an exclusion zone for all vessels and persons will be in force for the flying display times as stated in paragraph 2, for the area detailed below: 
 
a. 50 44.05 N 001 09.50W 
b. 50 44.34 N 001 09.58W 
c. 50 43.60 N 001 07.79W 
d. 50 44.36 N 001 07.04W 
e. 50 45.05 N 001 08.72W

4. The area will be marshalled by four rigid hulled inflatable boats, operated by Northern Exposure, displaying a Red flag with ‘SAFETY’ in white text. These vessels can be contacted on VHF Channel 6 during the event. 

5. Persons shall comply with requests from the marshal craft.  
 
6. The exclusion zone will be formally established by a Sécurité message on VHF Channel 11, by Portsmouth VTS. 
 
7. Cancel this Local Notice to Mariners on 30 June 2025.
