1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King's Harbour Master Portsmouth that a Swim will take place on Sunday 27 April 2025 between Seaview on the IOW and Norris buoy, then returning to Seaview.
2. One swimmer will be participating in the swim, the swimmer will be accompanied by a kayaker acting as an individual support craft.
3. A second support vessel will also be in attendance, a white hulled yacht named ‘TAPESTY’ (LOA 12.5m) which maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch11 and Ch12 throughout.
4. The swim will commence from Seaview at 1200 and is expected to complete back at Seaview by approximately 1700.
5. All support craft will display the International Code Flag ‘ALPHA’ while escorting the swimmers.
6. Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass well clear of the swimmers and the support craft during their crossing of the Solent.
