1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King’s Harbour Master Portsmouth that pile removal works and diving operations will take on the western side of Portsmouth Harbour entrance nightly between 2330 through to 0630 from 22 to 25 February 2025.

2. The works will focus on the submerged piles located on the Fort Blockhouse / western side of Portsmouth Harbour entrance and be conducted by Baker Trayte Marine Ltd using their MPV “BULLDOG” (LOA 14.8m).

3. Diving will be carried out in support of the works by APEX Diving Ltd using a RHIB (LOA 7.5m). During operations flag ALFA and other required lights will be displayed.  

4. Whist works are ongoing the Small Boat Channel north of BC Outer Pile to Ballast Pile will be closed to small craft. Small craft will therefore be required to use the main shipping channel and to coordinate their arrivals and departures through the harbour entrance by calling KHM Harbour Control on VHF Ch 11 and requesting permission to proceed. A sécurité broadcast will be made by KHM Harbour Control to advise of the Small Boat Channel closure.  

5. All vessels will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channels 11 and 12.Other vessels are requested to pass at an appropriate speed, minimising wash, and giving a wide berth when diving and works are being undertaken.

6. Cancel this LNTM 26 February 2025.
