COCKLESHELL CHALLENGE ROWING EVENT - 28 SEPTEMBER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN jointly by the King’s Harbour Master Portsmouth and the Langstone Harbour Master that there will be a rowing event between Langstone Harbour, Southsea and Horse Sand Fort, on Saturday 28 September. This event will start at 1300 and complete by 1700. 

2. Approximately 30 rowing vessels will be participating. The start is in Langstone Harbour entrance, and they will complete the following course: Inner Boat Passage, Horse Sand Fort, Langstone Fairway Mark and return to Langstone Harbour.

3. The fleet will be accompanied by a 6.5m white vessel flying the ‘ECA’ flag. As well as monitoring Channel 11, they can be contacted on VHF Channel 10, using the call sign “Eastney Cruising Association Safety”.  There will also be five rigid hull inflatable boats positioned about the course.
