MINOR SURVEY OPERATIONS FOUNTAIN LAKE HMNB PORTSMOUTH - 27 JUNE 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King's Harbour Master Portsmouth that Surveying Operations will be conducted in the maintained areas of Fountain Lake, focusing on the berth pockets off berths FL1 and FL2 on the western end within HM Naval Base Portsmouth on the 27 June 2024. 

2. The contractor for these minor survey works will be Shoreline using their multicat vessel “SHORELINE” (LOA 7.0m) with towed equipment being deployed. The vessel will display the appropriate signals when conducting survey operations, with all works being completed between 0800 -1900 on the date indicated.

3. Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass at slow speed while surveying operations are being conducted. The survey craft will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch 11 throughout operations.

4. KHM Harbour Control will be kept informed of work in progress and will de-conflict movements with other marine traffic. They can be contacted on VHF Ch 11 or by telephoning 02392 723689 for the latest information.
