BOREHOLE OPERATIONS TIPNER LAKE 3 – 19 JUNE 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the King's Harbour Master Portsmouth that Bore Hole Operations will be conducted off the northern side Tipner West in Portsmouth Harbour by Causeway Geotechnical Ltd commencing 3 June with completion expected by 19 June 2024.

2. The contractor for the works will be using their Spud Leg Barge “CAUSEWAY GIANT 1” (LOA 18.0m) and supported by the multi-cat “OCEAN ENERGY” or “OCEAN SUPPORT” (LOA 23.4m) and the RHIB “SBS GUARDIAN” (LOA 7.2m), as necessary. The vessels will display the appropriate signals when conducting operations, with all works being conducted between 0700 -1900.

3. Mariners are requested to keep a good lookout and pass at slow speed while surveying operations are being conducted. The survey craft will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch 11 throughout operations.

4. KHM Harbour Control will be kept informed of work in progress and will de-conflict movements with other marine traffic. They can be contacted on VHF Ch 11 or by telephoning 02392 723689 for the latest information.
