PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 041/25 - INFORMATION
MAINTENANCE DREDGING AT HMNB DEVONPORT   

1. This notice is issued for information by the King’s Harbour Master Plymouth.
   
   
2. In addition to dredging noted in PLNTM 031/25 maintenance dredging operations will take place at various places throughout HMNB Devonport, to commence on 20 June 2025 for approximately 10 Days.

3. The works will comprise Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) and Plough Dredging. With disposal of material at Plymouth Deep (PL035) licensed disposal site:

4. The following vessels will be utilised to complete the works:
   
   Shoalway - TSHD
   
   Obervargh - Plough vessel
   
   Smit Neyland – Survey Vessel
   
   
5. Appropriate shapes will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance and minimise wash when passing vessels engaged in dredging and surveying operations.
