PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 032/25

UNMANNED SURFACE VESSEL OPERATIONS – INFORMATION

1. This notice is for information by the King’s Harbour Master (KHM) Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 2020.
   
   
2. Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) Operations will take place in Jennycliff Bay between 28 -29 April 2025 between approximately 1130-1600 daily.
   
   
3. A support vessel will be in attendance throughout and will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch.14 and will communicate with Plymouth VTS.
   
   
4. Appropriate shapes will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance and minimise wash when transiting the area.
