PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 026/25 - INFORMATION  

MAINTENANCE DREDGING AT HMNB DEVONPORT - REISSUE    

 

1. This notice is issued for information by the King’s Harbour Master Plymouth.
   
   
2. Delays to operations will extend Plough dredge works mentioned in PLNTM 020/25. Dredging operations will take place at various places throughout HMNB Devonport, the works will be extended until the 7^th April 2025. This is in addition to dredging noted in PLNTM 015/25.

3. The works will comprise Plough Dredging utilising dredger Obervargh, survey works will be conducted by survey vessel Neyland.
   
   
4. Appropriate shapes will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance and minimise wash when passing vessels engaged in dredging and surveying operations.
