PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 025/25

PONTOON REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - INFORMATION

1. This notice is for information from the King’s Harbour Master, Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 2020.
   
2. Pontoon removal, replacement and transportation will be undertaken between Calstock and Mayflower Marina (Hamoaze - River Tamar).
3. Removal activity will be undertaken between 23 – 25 March 2025.
4. Following removal a replacement pontoon will be installed between 31 March -13 April 2025.
5. Both activities are weather and tide dependant; for more information please contact Flag Port Control on VHF Ch.14 where they can pass your query to the most appropriate contact.
6. During removal / installation the vessel will be restricted in its ability to manoeuvre and will display appropriate shapes and lights as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
   
7. Mariners are advised accordingly.
