PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 018/25

CATTEWATER PLOUGH DREDGING OPERATIONS

INFORMATION

1. This notice is for information by the King’s Harbour Master (KHM) Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 2020 and is issued on behalf of the Cattewater Harbour Commissioners.
   
2. Dredging operations will commence on 10 February 2025 within the Cattewater Harbour limits for a period of approximately 1 month.
   
3. The works will comprise of plough dredging using plough dredger Amy Jane.
   
4. Appropriate shapes will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance and minimise wash when passing vessels engaged in dredging.
   
5. Cancel this PLNTM 10 March 2025.
