PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 067/24

UNMANNED UNDERWATER VESSEL OPERATIONS – INFORMATION 

1. This notice is for information by the King’s Harbour Master (KHM) Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 2020.
2. Unmanned Underwater Vessel (UUV) Operations will take place between West Mud and South Yard, HMNB(D) on 15 November 2024 between approximately 0800-1300.
   
3. A support vessel will be in attendance throughout and will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch.14 and will communicate with Flag Port Control.
4. Appropriate shapes will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance and minimise wash when transiting the area.
