DEPLOYMENT OF SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT

INFORMATION

1. This notice is for information from the King’s Harbour Master, Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 2020.
2. Scientific equipment will be deployed at approximately 1100 for a period of 6 hours on the 16^th May 2024 in the below location:

   50° 21.385’N, 004° 10.305’W (Barnpool)
   
   

3. The equipment deployed will reduce the charted depth by approximately 5m. The deploying vessel will run sail patterns around the equipment throughout the day before recovering.
4. The deploying/recovering vessel will be restricted in her ability to manoeuvre and will display appropriate shapes and lights as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
5. Mariners are advised accordingly.
