PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 036/24

COASTAL ROWING REGATTA– INFORMATION

1. This notice is for information by the King’s Harbour Master (KHM) Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 2020.
   
   
2. The Mayflower Offshore Rowing Clubs Coastal Regatta will be held on Saturday 13th April 2024 starting at 0900 until approximately 1600.
   
   
3. The race’s will Start and Finish on a line between Mayflower Marina pontoon and Cremyll buoy and proceed into Plymouth Sound IVO Drake’s Island.
   
   
4. The event is being co-ordinated by Mayflower Offshore Rowing Club and their safety craft will be in attendance throughout the event and maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 14.
   
   
5. Racing will be deconflicted with commercial/military traffic.
   
   
6. All vessels are to manoeuvre in accordance with the International Rules for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Non-participants are requested to give the race and launch / recovery areas as wide a berth as is safe and practicable.
