PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 035/24

CATTEWATER DIVING OPERATIONS – INFORMATION

1. This notice is for information by the King’s Harbour Master (KHM) Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 2020 and is issued on behalf of the Cattewater Harbour Commissioners.
   
   
2. Underwater inspection and maintenance diving work is ongoing at the Oreston Trot Moorings and Barbican Landing Stage until Thursday 29^th March.
   
   
3. Diving operations will be supported by:
   
   Mayflower Diver
   
   
4. The vessel will maintain a listening watch on VHF Ch.14 and communicate with Longroom Port Control throughout.
   
   
5. Appropriate shapes will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance and minimise wash when passing vessels engaged in diving operations.
