PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 055/22
RPCYC FROSTBITE RUN BOATS IN LIGHTS
INFORMATION
1. This Notice is published for information by the King’s Harbour Master Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 2020.
2. Mariners are advised that on the Sunday 11th December 2022 Royal Plymouth Corinthian Yacht Club (RPCYC) are conducting a social event “Frostbite Run” a festive parade of private vessels in the Sound, wearing seasonal lights.
3. Approximately 30 vessels will gather South of Mount Batten Breakwater at 17:00.
4. The event route is shown in the chartlet at Annex A and finishing at 20:00.
5. The event will be supervised and coordinated by elected officers and volunteers from the RPCYC.
6. All vessels are to manoeuvre in accordance with the International Rules for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Non-participants are requested to give the parade areas a wide berth or as is safe and practicable.
7. All vessels are to remain at least 50 metres clear of anchored or moored warships and auxiliaries at all times.
8. Cancel this Notice on 12 December 2022.
