PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 029/22
DEPLOYMENT OF TIDAL CURRENT METERS - INFORMATION
1. This notice is for information from the Queen’s Harbour Master Plymouth pursuant to the Dockyard Port of Plymouth Order 2020.
2. Tidal current meters have been deployed at the below locations and will remain in-situ for approximately 10 days.
a. 50° 20.893’N, 004° 09.536’W
b. 50° 20.016’N, 004° 07.723’W
c. 50° 20.173’N, 004° 10.209’W
3. The deploying vessel will be restricted in her ability to manoeuvre. Appropriate shapes and lights will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.
4. Mariners are directed to keep well clear during deployment and avoid anchoring in these areas.
