PLYMOUTH LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 025/22 - INFORMATION
DREDGING AT HMNB DEVONPORT
1. This notice is issued for information by the Queens Harbour Master Plymouth.
2. Dredging operations will take place at HMNB Devonport to commence approximately on 9 March 2022 for 4 days; this work is weather dependent so may occur later.

3. The works will comprise Plough and Trailing Suction Hopper Dredging (TSHD) with disposal of material at Plymouth Deep (PL035) licensed disposal site:

4. TSHD Shoalway and plough dredger F48 will complete the works.
5. Appropriate shapes will be displayed as required by International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. Mariners are requested to pass at a safe distance and minimise wash when passing vessels engaged in dredging and surveying operations.
