GARELOCH - ULTRASONIC TESTING ON 7N & 8N BEACON PILES

Notice

1.Mariners are advised that Workboat "Laura M" will be used as a platform to conduct ultrasonic testing on the structural piles on 7N & 8N beacons.

2.This work will take place between the 19th & 20th September 2024.

3.Please see the below extract from British Admiralty Chart 2000, showing the test locations. 

 

 

4. Please see below "Work Boat " Laura M" which will be used to conduct the test work.

5. Mariners are requested to navigate with caution in the vicinity of the test areas.

6. "Laura M" will be displaying appropriate day shapes and lights as per the International Regulations for Preventing Collision's at Sea (COLREGs) due to the Restricted Ability to Manoeuvre.
