The Royal Navy Forum is changing

The current Royal Navy Forum has provided families and service personnel with a secure place to communicate away from third-party Social Media and has has been an essential part of family engagement for the past 17 years, coming into its own through OP Herrick and beyond. Recently it has given us the ability to push COVID-19 updates and messages to you to help alleviate some of the anxieties and concerns, allowing you to ask questions within a safe environment.
For the past 18 months, we have been working with our digital partners in reviewing and identifying a more modern communication platform to ensure that the Royal Navy Forum remains current, accessible, and reliable as we move forward with the changing shape of the Royal Navy.
We have built and improved on the existing platform to allow families to access unit specific updates, key advice, guidance, and topical resources as well as being able to take part in discussions around Service-related topics. Service personnel can communicate and engage with a dedicated team from RN FPS who will assist in accessing the right information and provide appropriate sign posting.
Community is at the heart of the Royal Navy and the new forum allows service personnel and families to build connections and networks with each other in a safe, protected, and positive environment.
We look forward to you joining us in the new Royal Navy Forum, 'your' Forum soon.
We will continue to keep you updated.
