The RN Uses AI for the First Time During NATO Exercise
For the first time the Royal Navy has used Artificial Intelligence to fend off missile attacks during NATO's Formidable Shield exercise off Scotland.
HMS Lancaster and HMS Dragon have tested cutting-edge software against supersonic threats which is intended to improve the reaction and response time of operators so they can take the right actions in good time.
In addition, HMS Argyll has been pushing her Sea Ceptor air defence missile system to the limit.
