Q&A ON BEREAVEMENT AND LOSS
PRESENTED BY SSAFA ONLINE
If you want to know more about the grief process and how it affects you and those around you, you should attend this virtual online questions and answers session.
From the session, you will learn;
• How it will help you in your daily life
• How it will provide you with tools to support others
• Throughout the session, you will not have to take part – just listen
• You may remain anonymous (your name can be changed or deleted)
• You will be able to ask questions during the session or send questions to Jason prior to the talk
The talk will be led by Paulo Pimentel, who is a Psychotherapist specialising in bereavement, loss and trauma.
The virtual Q&A Bereavement and Loss session is available for anyone who is a member of the Support Groups Service or anyone or would be eligible to be a member. Details below:
Bereaved Support Group
This group is for anyone in the family unit (18+) who has suffered a bereavement of a veteran or Serving Armed Forces Personnel.
Military Families Affected by Suicide
For anyone in the family unit (18+) who have been affected by the loss of a loved one through suicide of a veteran or Serving Armed Forces Personnel.
Families of Wounded Injured and Sick Personnel
The FISP support group is for a spouse/partner/parent or carer (18+) of Armed Forces personnel who have been wounded or suffered an injury, or sickness.

A confirmation email with your invitation to the online meeting will be sent by 2 October.
There is a requirement for a minimum number of 10 people to be registered by 2 October for the talk to take place.
