Armed Forces Pilot - Wrap around Childcare

Currently eligible Service personnel in Buckinghamshire assigned to RAF High Wycombe and RAF Halton will be able to apply for up to 20 hours per week free wraparound childcare (term time) for their 4 to 11 year old children attending breakfast and after school clubs delivered by an Ofsted (or equivalent) registered childcare provider. At least 1 parent has to be an armed forces regular and both parents have to be in paid employment.

The pilot will soon be rolled out to RN Personnel located in one of the Base Port areas and details will be communicated once they become available.

For info, please see attached a set of Q & A's that have been collated during the RAF Pilot - it is worth noting that some items noted will differ for the RN Pilot but it will give you some idea of the Scheme.

Further details can be found here
