Free mail to HMS Albion

For those who have a loved one deployed on HMS Albion, you will be pleased to know you can send parcels up to the weight of 2kg  to them for free, as they come under the Enduring Free Mail Scheme for Units in certain areas.

The postal address will be as follows:   Rank, Name & Service Number
                                                        HMS Albion
                                                        BFPO 204

Take the parcel into the post office and they will put the appropriate markings on for you. There is no limit to the amount of parcels you can send, but just bear in mind that space is limited on board.

There are a few restrictions on what can be sent in the parcel and sizes(approximately shoe box size), which you can see in the link below

Free letters can also be sent in the form of HM Forces Aerograms, commonly known as 'Blueys', which can be picked up from Post Offices. No enclosures are permitted in these, but they are ideal for short letters or for a child to send a drawing.
