New CEAS Contact Information
The Children’s Education Advisory Service (CEAS) is part of the Directorate Children & Young People (DCYP), the MOD’s professional lead on all matters relating to Service Children & Young People.
The CEAS team have a wide remit; providing information, advice, guidance and support to parents and others regarding educational provision for Service children in the UK and around the world.
Currently, you can contact CEAS using the email firstname.lastname@example.org however with effect from 29th June 2018 CEAS are planned to migrate to MODNET. The new email will be email@example.com.
Please ensure when contacting CEAS you include as much information as possible about your query; Email is better than a phone call/message. It allows CEAS to get the basic information, do any necessary research and prioritise. Sometimes it is difficult to get the names, emails and numbers accurately over the phone so email is better and usually a quicker way of CEAS responding to you.
If you are sending any documentation with your email please make sure that you have completed any forms correctly and in full, ensuring that any forms are legible & that you attach any documentation that are required to support your case; if paperwork is incomplete, ineligible or does not have the required additional paperwork it will delay your case.
CEAS realise that some people prefer to phone. If the CEAS helpline is busy and you need to leave a message, please give a brief outline of your query clearly and slowly stating contact details; if you require someone to phone you back, please say so in your email/call/message.
CEAS appreciate your understanding and patience during this MODNET migration.
