Mental Health Awareness Week

Monday was the start of Mental Health Awareness Week, a national event hosted by the Mental Health Foundation. The focus for this year is on stress with research finding that two thirds of us experience a mental health problem in our lifetimes, and stress is a key factor in this. Throughout the week you will see how leading a healthy lifestyle can impact on your mental fitness, with links and top tips to help keep you NAVYfit.     150 Active Minutes ... Do you get yours every week? Being physically active can improve your mental fitness, whether this is going for a walk to playing a sport. There is a NAVYfit festival at HMS Collingwood this afternoon, if you're in the area why not pop along to see what you can get involved in.

    Alcohol affects your body and mind in a number of ways and can impact on both your short term and long term health.
