Training as a Dermatologist funded by the Royal Navy?

I was thinking about studying to become a Dermatologist locally. Does it really take 12 years to do so? If you obtain a job as a Dermatologist Assistant can you take a fast track route? Also would the course touch on nutrition as well? Are there scholarships available or available funding? It’s really about me improving self knowledge and providing guidance to others and professional advice. Also would one be able to train as a Naval personnel Dermatologist so obtain funding down that route? How would I go about applying for that funding? Not sure who best to speak to? Ive worked in offices for over 10 years and I think I need a career change. I mean it would be a new avenue for me to follow. What is the starting salary of a Dermatologist Assistant for example? Bearing in mind I am already degree qualified. Can one not train on the job with courses alongside?
