Royal Navy minehunter HMS Grimsby has now successfully completed her Operational Sea Training and is en route to join the standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Task Group in the Mediterranean.

The Crew have been put through their paces over the last two weeks with everything from fires and floods; diving operations and mine hunting, and responding to attacks from enemy forces.

Having handled these situations with vigour and enthusiasm and received the ‘All Clear’ signal from the trainers, the final hurdle was the weather heading south through the Irish Sea, as Grimsby shouldered aside 5-metre high waves.
