The Club was formed in 1966, and by 1970 had a tug aircraft. The club is open to Serving military personnel, and Ex-Serving Servicemen and women who have skills that can assist the Club.

We have an excellent fleet of aircraft; 3 dual seat for training and 3 single seat for the more advanced pilots. We have a brand new Super DIMONA motor glider, bought with a large grant from the Sailor's and Fleet Amenities Funds, which provides aero tows, advanced gliding training, field landing checks and cross country flying.
