A Service of Remembrance was held at Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose on Sunday 8th November 2009, to commemorate those Servicemen and women who gave their lives in both World Wars and in those Wars and Campaigns since.

Sterling Service by Rejuvenated Helicopter
One of the first Sea King helicopters to have been delivered to the Royal Navy, Sea King XV649 - side number 80, was built by Westlands during the summer of 1969 and delivered to the Royal Navy in October of that year.
