Lynx Mk9A

The Lynx Mk9A is the latest battlefield version of the world’s fastest helicopter. We operate anywhere in the world: from the decks of assault ships, from clearings in the jungle, to the sands of the desert and makeshift ‘airfields’ in the middle of fields. Our aircraft and men and women are currently committed in Afghanistan carrying out vital reconnaissance, casualty evacuation and troop moving missions. The helicopters are clearly distinguishable from the naval Mk8s of 702 and 815 Naval Air Squadrons thanks to distinctive camouflage green livery.
