RNAS Yeovilton Air Day 2011

World events have resulted in a significant change in the security measures employed at The RNAS Yeovilton International Air Day ("VLAD") in order to enable you to enjoy the show in a safe environment.  Your consent to full searches of your vehicle/person and belongings will be a condition of entry to RNAS Yeovilton ("the Venue") and associated off base car parks.  Visitors must comply with all safety announcements and instructions.

Please minimise the amount of belongings that you bring to the Venue and note that no bicycles will be permitted inside the Venue.  Please assist us by ensuring that you keep all of your belongings with you at all times.

No ammunition, replica or toy firearms or knives or any kind of weapon or part thereof may be brought to you into the Venue: any found will be confiscated and you may be refused entry into the Venue.

Visitors entering the Venue do so entirely at their own risk. No liability will be accepted by the Secretary of State for Defence or its agencies, the Royal Navy, AHA Events Ltd. ("the Organiser"), their servants, agents, independent contractors, consultants or sponsors for any death, injury (including fatal injury), illness, damage or loss whatsoever directly or indirectly occasioned to person or property whether due to negligence or otherwise howsoever subject to the provisions of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.

Visitors will not be entitled to refund of any entrance monies in the following circumstances:

a)  should VLAD not take place or be curtailed in any way or be postponed due to circumstances outside the control of the Organiser;

b)  if visitors are unwilling to attend VLAD; or

c)  if visitors are prevented from attending VLAD for reasons outside the control of the Organisers or pursuant to these Conditions.

The Organiser reserves the right:

a)  to carry out such security checks as it deems necessary

b)  to refuse entry to persons and/or vehicles from the Venue or any part of the Venue

c)  to change display times at their discretion

d)  to delay the opening time for safety or security reasons

Visitors holding a valid ticket or tickets for VLAD may use designated car parking free of charge.  In doing so, visitors will become liable to pay the full entrance fee for VLAD if not able to produce a valid ticket on demand.

No animals or birds are to be brought in to the Venue or left in vehicles.

It is recommended that ear protection is worn whilst at the Venue.

The Organisers of VLAD reserves to itself all rights of exploitation thereof.  Accordingly visitors are admitted to VLAD upon condition that, save with the prior written consent of the Organiser, they do not attempt to sell, license, or otherwise exploit, or attempt to exploit, any material whether written or in the form of photographic film, sound, video, or other recording or computer software obtained or made at the Venue and that they agree not to assign or license any copyright or other right in any such material, or any interest therein, to any third party without first offering the same to the Organisers upon the same terms or terms more favourable to the Organisers.  All visitors admitted to VLAD agree that the remedy of the Organisers of breach of these conditions shall not be limited to damages and may include all and any profits made as a result of such breach.

In the event that any of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such term or condition shall be severed and the remainder of the terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
