The Royal Navy Presentation Team tours the United Kingdom throughout the year, talking to a wide cross-section of groups and organisations about the role played by the Royal Navy in defending the United Kingdom’s interests worldwide.
Royal Navy Presentation Team
As well as being informative, the presentation is designed to be entertaining and thought provoking.
We talk to groups ranging from politicians, business leaders and academics as well as communities that have previously not had the exposure to the work the Royal Navy does on behalf of the UK and its citizens.
Following the formal presentation, a question and answer session provides ample opportunity to discuss wider issues or covered topics more in depth.
Our presentation lasts about 35 minutes. It outlines UK Defence policy and the considerable contribution being made to tri-service and multi-national operations by an efficient, flexible, modern Royal Navy. We show you how your Royal Navy operates right across the spectrum of missions from counter-narcotics to anti-terrorism, from Defence Diplomacy to disaster relief, and from peacekeeping through crisis management all the way up to high intensity conflict. We also look at the future of the Royal Navy as our plans evolve. Our aim is to demonstrate that the Royal Navy provides a vital and cost effective service to the nation, and with the pending introduction into service of advanced and capable new equipment, will continue to do so for decades to come.
