Presentation at Culdrose to Help for Heroes07/12/2011
A cheque for £550 has been presented to Wendy Buckthought of Help for Heroes by Warrant Officer Ian Thompson and Petty Officer Aircrewman Richard Harker, both members of 824 Naval Air Squadron based at RNAS Culdrose.

The money was raised through the sale of Help for Heroes merchandise within the squadron, and Warrant Officer Thompson raised a significant sum during his recent 50th Birthday celebrations - donations came from serving colleagues and civilian guests.
Petty Officer Richard Harker has helped raise money for this charity over a period of 4 years.
He said:
